It feels seriously strong, and even when enemies close in, you have skills that can knock them back or slow them. I generally prefer to play ranged classes, and I immediately fell in love with the mage. The longer you charge this skill, the more attacks you will perform.

Gather your strength to unleash a series of crushing overhead blows as you advance through your enemies. Lasts up to 4 seconds or until you release the attack. Spin your axe around you as you move, repeatedly damaging nearby enemies. Leap up to 20 meters forward, dealing damage to enemies. This skill does not break combos even when it is used during a combo. Use your axe to hook enemies to damage them. The only real downside-aside from its slowness-is the same as with any melee class: you'll need to make sure you're ready to dodge any big incoming attacks to survive. And no Berserker would be complete without the trademark whirlwind, axe-spinning attack, allowing you to deal damage to multiple enemies. You get access to a leap that lets you close in on enemies and knock them down. If this is your first playthrough in the game, then the Berserker may not be for you. This axe-wielding class seems relatively slow, but there's quite a bit of satisfaction to be had from how powerful and intuitive it feels in the tutorial. The Berserker is meant to be played with a more strategic play style, and require loads more of skill and situational awareness to prosper in. The struggles are most notable when encountering hoards of enemies at once, or boss battles. This class is remarkably slow and sluggish, which shows in battle. Single target and AOE damage are lousy with the Berserker.

However, the Priest plays a critical role in a collaborative setting, amongst other classes who all play a specfic role between one another. The Priest isn’t recommended to be played solo. The Priest specializes in shields, healing, and ranged attacks – a true support class amongst the other classes.

The Priest encounters challenges when fighting against groups. Having your enemies knocked down to the ground is a sure way to eliminate them in a timely fashion when the rest of your team is contributing accordingly. This is incredibly valuable when working in teams. The reason being, is the knockdown ability of the Crusader. The Crusader works excellently when working as more of a front-line support role with your squad. It’s AOE potential is limited, while it’s solo damage is moderate.

The Mage pairs well in group settings with fellow heroes, and if you plan on playing Bless cooperatively with your friends, then utilizing the Mage in your party is a recipe for success.Įasily more of a higher-tiered character, the Crusader’s strengths lie in its blessing potential and group fighting. The Mage’s weakness, though, is that it suffers in single target encounters. The combination of this and its ranged arcane ability make the character a force to be reckoned with. In the later game, the Mage excels in blessing potential. Mages are masters of arcane ability and utilize the elements around them to take care of their enemies – Exceptional AOE damage and overall utility. Overall, the Ranger’s single-target damage is comparatively unmatched between the other classes. The Ranger is especially ideal if your play style is a more lone wolf fashion. If you encounter groups of enemies alone, you’re going to have a tough time overcoming the whole group. However, the Ranger has limited AOE damage. Even enemies that are a few levels higher then you can be defeated with reasonable effort. Most enemies you encounter 1v1 with the Ranger will be a cakewalk. Rangers are expert survivalists that specialize in fighting from a distance – the single-target extraordinaire class – and the Ranger is, by far, the best in this category.
